ABORIGIN ry. is a small charity legally registered in Finland.

 

We aim at educating the public and the youth on aboriginal and alternative cultures and lifestyles.

 

Among the highlights of our past activities, we have been at the origin of the Roots Village at Faces Festival , and have organized educational tours of Canadian Aboriginal people in schools all over Finland.

 

Since a decade, we are also acting as promotion and booking agency for Nagwetch, a Canadian singer and songwriter of Wabanaki ancestry who lives in Finland and educates people about the Wabanaki cultural heritage with his music and storytelling skills. His new live show is available both in Finland and worldwide.
